GABA is an acronym for "gamma-Aminobutyric acid," which is a neurotransmitter found naturally in the brains of all mammals. All tea has GABA, but when the tea is withered in a vacuum, the amount spikes drastically. The effects of drinking GABA are NOT intoxicating. It has a mild calming effect, which relaxes the muscles and helps you sleep deeper. It is a wonderful evening tea! Our GABA is from Zhu Shan and is MOA-certified organic.
